Before You Book Questions & Answers

What areas do you serve?

We are based in Merrill, WI, and serve customers from the surrounding areas including Wausau, Tomahawk, Antigo, Stevens Point, Wittenburg, Medford and more!

Are you Insured?

Yes — we are fully insured for all auto detailing services, giving you peace of mind knowing your vehicle is protected while in our care.

Do You Offer Mobile Detailing?

Currently, we offer in-shop detailing only to ensure the best environment for high-quality results. We do offer pickup and drop off of your vehicle for your convenience.

What Should I do Before my Appointment?

We recommend removing personal belongings from your vehicle including valuables and loose items. This makes it easier for our team to access all areas and ensures nothing gets misplaced. If there are any pre-existing scratches, dents, or issues, it’s good to inform us so we can take extra care.

How Often Should I get my Car Detailed?

We recommend a full detail every 3-6 months, depending on driving conditions and your vehicles exposure to the elements (especially the winter road salt). Regular detailing not only improves appearance but also helps preserve your car’s value by preventing damage to the paint, upholstery, and other surfaces. Do Commercial Car Washes Damage my Car?

Car washes offer convenience, many use stiff brushes, harsh chemicals, and automated systems that can unintentionally cause damage to your vehicle’s finish. The brushes and cloth strips can create fine scratches and swirl marks in your paint, especially if they have dirt or grit trapped in them from previous vehicles. Over time, these tiny abrasions can dull your car’s clear coat and lead to a less glossy, worn appearance. Additionally, commercial car washes usually focus on surface cleaning and often do not apply protective coatings like wax or sealants that help shield your paint from the elements. They also may miss cleaning critical areas like wheel wells, undercarriage, and interior detailing. Professional auto detailing, on the other hand, uses specialized tools, gentle hand techniques, and high-quality products designed to clean deeply while protecting and enhancing your car’s finish. Detailers also inspect for problem areas and apply protective treatments that help prevent damage from UV rays, road salt, and contaminants. In short, while commercial washes can be fine for quick cleaning, regular professional detailing is the best way to maintain your vehicle’s appearance and protect its value long-term.
